
ABOUT ME
Dr. Joshua Crum specializes in arthroscopy and the treatment of all sports-related injuries.
He has particular interest in the arthroscopic treatment of shoulder, elbow, and knee
disorders. He provides state-of-the art care for a wide variety of sports injuries, whether
resulting from an acute trauma or overuse. In addition, he cares for general orthopedic
conditions including fracture care and performs hip, knee, and shoulder replacement.
A 1998 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Dr. Crum graduated Summa Cum Laude with a
degree in Biochemistry. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota
Medical School. Following medical school, he completed Orthopedic residency at the
University of Wisconsin in Madison. After residency, he spent an additional year in
fellowship training with the renowned Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama, where he
focused on the treatment of athletic injuries. He began practice in Texas in 2008.
Dr. Crum is the Head Team Physician for Texas State Athletics and has been taking care of the Bobcats since 2011.
