Dr. Aseem
Saini joined
San
Marcos
Orthopedics after completing a comprehensive surgical residency at the renowned
John
Peter Smith Hospital (JPS), a level I trauma hospital in the heart of Fort Worth
where he
served as Chief Resident.
During his three years at JPS, Dr. Saini was exposed to complex foot and ankle
injuries and
specializes in both surgical
and non-surgical treatment of various pathologies. Dr. Saini’s expertise in the
field of
Foot and Ankle Surgery
includes: rearfoot, midfoot, ankle fractures, foot and ankle reconstructive
surgeries, ankle
stabilization, sports
injuries, tendon repair and transfers, ankle arthroscopy, minimally invasive
bunion
correction, hammertoes, external
fixation, hindfoot and rearfoot fusions, diabetic limb salvage, diabetic wound
care, and
more.
Dr. Saini is devoted to delivering personalized care to all his patients. He enjoys collaborating with his patients as a team to find a treatment that best suits their specific needs and lifestyle. Dr. Saini believes that all conservative treatment measures should be exhausted prior to proceeding to surgery. If conservative treatment measures fail, he utilizes the most up to date, research backed treatment algorithms to address his patients foot and ankle ailments and relieve their pain.
Dr. Saini completed his undergraduate studies at the University
of California,
Santa Cruz
where he received his Bachelor
in Science in Biology. He received his DPM degree from Western University of
Health Sciences
where he graduated among
the top of his class.
Dr. Saini is proud to have joined San Marcos Orthopedics and looks forward to treating the great people of Hays County and all surrounding areas. In his spare time he enjoys watching sports, hiking/outdoor activities, watching movies, and cooking.
